Good morning everyone and Happy Release Day!I know we missed last week with the holiday and blog anniversary, but hopefully you had some fun. Today's topic sort of came to me at the last minute, so be patient with me as I explain.
As I was perusing through the new releases from Samhain and some of the books that I need to review, I thought to myself, this market is making a fortune off of women. In addition, I pondered how many women read m/m books and how many m/m books are really written by females. I mean let's face...they're hot and that's why we keep coming back for more.
I know...I know... You're wondering...where is the Blackraven going with this? Well, after thinking about how hot erotic romance novels are, especially when I think of Lorelei's McKay men and a few other alpha males, and how they have a tendency to get us all hot and bothered if done right, a question popped into my head. So...here goes...

I have so many!!! Any Lorelei James book, Anne Rainey's Body Rush and Shelly Laurenston books. That is just to name a few. I can reread these ones over and over again. I honestly dont think my husband minds as much as he lets on.

I actually just finished reading one last night that was sooo good! It was A Taste of Haven by Sierra Summers. She took sex and the dirty talk during to whole other level, so you really got a nice picture. Which of course the better the visual image the better the imitation of that act is;)

So many of my favorites listed here already, but I think my number #1 would be Cherise Sinclair's, Dark Citadel series. They are very erotic bdsm stories, with uber sexy alpha men who have got that whole command and cherish vibe nailed. The dialogue is so sensual with the perfect undertone of erotic and romantic at the same time.

Oh, don't get me started. I thought I read hot,hot stuff until I found Kimberly Zant's Surrender. Surprisingly there is a plot, but there are so many hot sexual scenarios, I was on the edge of Oo through the whole book. Voyeur by Lacey Alexander is a story that is sexy and gets you in the mood. All four of these books have erotic elements, but it's that combined with the characters and the story that brings everything together and just does it for me.
